POST 1: WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS CAREER/STUDY PROGRAMME?

I since was a kid, I liked the math and how does it works with the numbers, was interesting for me, there I was growing so learning more about the science and specially the astronomy.
I was 16 years old and I liked the photography and captures some images about the beach, the arquitecture and the landscape of the city, looking usually the constructions and there designs. Is there when I decided to study architecture.
My experience at the University is good at the moment, with all the learning about the architecture, like his history, how does it is involved in the world specially right now. Because the architecture is progressing every day. So my focus in my condition of architect is the contemporary architecture, using at the same time the sustainability either in houses or buildings.

Introduction; Who I am

To start, my name is Jurgen Schultze, and it have to be said with a german pronunciation cause is a German name. I'm 19 years old and I am from Puente Alto, Santiago and I'm studying architecture here in the FAU of the Universidad de Chile.

I decided to study that career cause I always looked the buildings and houses, looking every detail and the inmensity of them. Exactly I love the contemporary architecture with all his designs like the mediterranian houses or the skyscrapers of the arabian countries that are awesomes. I would like in the future mix that style (or maybe a new style) with the sustaintability cause I really care the world so I feel that needs to be helped by everyone of us, independent of the job that every one could have. So my mission like an architect is focus to understand that situation and bring to the world a solution by the architecture, and if I'm traveling while I do that, would be perfect for me, because travel and know about every country, culture and obviously archictecture, is my biggest dream.
